I'm just going to start off by apologizing for disappearing on you guys!!! Other than an occasional art post, I haven't really been around here very often. A lot of it has to do with the fact that this site has changed a lot and I am a curmudgeon who fights change she doesn't like by avoiding it. The past year has been really hectic and full of a lot of new things, some new and some bad. I've still been painting and drawing, in addition to all of my college work. I'm too tired to form entire thoughts right now, so here's a bullet list of things: in the past year I've fallen in love with the show Supernatural, so expect to see a lot of that

I promise I'll be posting some stuff later this week. PROMISE. Everything is just kind of chaotic; I've been stressing about college applications, school, and feeling a bit inferior to many people around me. But I'm determined to put negativity behind me. I'm in a really good place in life right now, and it's been a while since I've been so happy and content despite so much talk about the future looming its ugliness over me. Someday, I'll have time to post and be more active here. But at the moment, I won't jinx my current happiness by forcing myself to do so. :) Since my last journal... I've figured out my future major (graphic design) Laughed and enjoyed life without stressing so much Met wonderfully talented people at work Realized I love the art department at my high school, and the amazing people that are part of it Realized that no matter how much I love these people, I can't wait to move on and try my hand at living life Finally, I've learned to stop whining if I won't even try to fix the problem I'm excited for this weekend.
